لَمَّا دَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الصَّفَا قَرَأَ:

Transliteration

Inna aṣ-ṣafā wa-l-marwata min shaʿāʾiri llāhi abdaʾu bimā badaʾa llāhu bih

so he started with Safa and climed it until he could see the Kaʿbah, he then faced it and said:

Lā ilāha illā llāhu, allāhu akbar

and then he would say the following three times making a supplication one should make a personal supplication after each time:

Lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahu l-mulku walahu l-ḥamdu wahuwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun, lā ilāha illā llāhu waḥdahu, anjaza waʿdahu, wa naṣara ʿabdahu, wa hazama l-ʾaḥzāba waḥdah

Translation

Indeed Safa and Marwah are from the places of worship of Allah… I begin with what Allah began with.

so he started with Safa and climed it until he could see the Kaʿbah, he then faced it and said:

There is none worthy of worship but Allah, and Allah is the Most Great.

and then he would say the following three times making a supplication one should make a personal supplication after each time:

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things amnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant and single-handedly defeated the allies.
